Bhopal: Four men, including a father-son duo from Rajasthan, were killed late on Sunday night when the SUV they were travelling in lost control and crashed into a tree while trying to avoid a cow sitting on the road in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh.The accident took place around 11:30 pm near the Kali Talai area amid heavy rain. Police said the victims left Ashoknagar for Rajasthan around 8 pm. As their SUV approached Kali Talai road, a cow was spotted sitting in the middle of the road, said sources. The driver swerved sharply to save the animal but lost control. The vehicle skidded off the road, plunged into a ditch, and rammed a tree. All four occupants died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Hariram Yadav (60), his son Mukesh Yadav (28), Vijendra Jat (23), and Haba Singh Gurjar. The cow also died in the collision. Police confirmed that the SUV was completely damaged by the impact and all passengers were killed instantly. Investigations are ongoing.
