HYDERABAD: Congress MLC Teenmar Mallanna's gunman opened fire at the MLC's office in Medipally to control members of Telangana Jagruthi, who had come to confront Mallanna. At least one person was injured in the incident. Telangana Jagruthi, an organization headed by BRS MLC K Kavitha, took objection to Mallanna's recent statement against Kavitha, made in the backdrop of the 42% reservation for the BC community. In response to his remarks, a mob allegedly affiliated with Telangana Jagruthi went to his office while Mallanna was present, reportedly to corner him.
