Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh has won five Swachh Survekshan awards for its cities across various categories, as announced by the Centre on Saturday. Vijayawada, Guntur, and Tirupati have been selected under the 'Swachh Super League Cities' category at the national level. Vijayawada falls under the below 10 lakh population category, Guntur under 3 to 10 lakh, and Tirupati under the 50,000 to 3 lakh range. Visakhapatnam, under the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC), was selected for the 'Special Category Ministerial Award' at the national level, while Rajamahendravaram secured the 'Ministerial Award' at the state level. Minister for municipal administration P. Narayana will receive the awards from President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony to be held in New Delhi on July 17. AP Swachh Andhra Corporation chairman K.
