Bihar School Holiday List 2025: The holiday calendar was first made public by state education ministries even before the end of 2024. The 2025 holiday schedule has also been made public by the Bihar School Education Department. Bihar's schools will be shuttered for a total of 72 days -- more than two months -- next year. When compared to other festivals, Chhath is the occasion for the most holidays in Bihar. Every year, schools are closed for three to four days during Chhath, Bihar's most significant holiday. In addition, Bihar's schools are closed in the winter and summer. However, in Bihar, schools are occasionally opened on holidays when new regulations are abruptly implemented. Private schools are not required to follow this vacation schedule, though. Summer and winter breaks will also be provided to Bihar government school teachers and pupils. Bihar's government schools will grant its teachers and pupils a 20-day summer break. In addition, there will be seven winter vacation days. However, depending on the weather, these can potentially be prolonged. Next year, schools will be closed from Dhanteras to Chhath Puja for ten days.
