CHENNAI: Nissan Motor India has crossed five lakh units in cumulative domestic sales since the start of its operations in 2010. It has sold 5,13,241 units in the last 14 years. In November this year, the company recorded consolidated wholesale dispatches of 9,040 units with domestic sales accounting for 2,342 units. Exports stood at 6,698 units. Saurabh Vatsa, MD, Nissan Motor India, said, "Nissan remains committed to its India operations, dealers, partners and customers. We remain on track for our plans announced earlier this year at the launches of the Nissan X-TRAIL and New Nissan Magnite. We recently expanded our product lineup with the launch of the New Nissan Magnite. The growth in our export numbers is driven by the New Nissan Magnite." The growing demand for the Made in India Magnite across international markets has enabled Nissan to expand its export footprint to more than 45 new markets, bringing its total presence to more than 65 countries, including left-hand drive markets.
