Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Shine Tom Chacko has publicly apologised to co-star Vincy Aloshious for his alleged inappropriate behaviour during the filming of their upcoming movie 'Soothravakyam'. The apology was made at a promotional event for the film, where Shine stated. "I apologise if I offended you. The things we say humorously to entertain people may upset others. Not everyone is the same. The way we perceive people and their ideas varies. Five people can interpret the same situation in five different ways. I often didn't understand that." In response, Vincy emphasised that she had no intention of harming Shine's family. She explained that she felt compelled to speak up because the matter involved someone she once admired and respected, and she regretted any unintended impact her revelation might have had on them. Several months ago, Vincy created a stir in the film industry by alleging in a video that a co-actor had misbehaved with her while under the influence of drugs. This incident occurred in November 2024 during the filming of Soothravakyam. Initially, Vincy refrained from naming the co-actor, but she later included Shine's name in the formal complaint she filed with the Film Chamber of Commerce and the Internal Committee (IC) associated with the film.
