Srinagar- A noticeable drop in night temperatures was recorded across Kashmir on Tuesday following widespread rainfall in the past 24 hours, bringing much-needed relief from the prevailing heatwave conditions. Data shared by Kashmir Weather. Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 19.0°C, a significant dip from 23.5°C the previous night. Qazigund also witnessed a decline, falling to 18.6°C from 21.4°C, while Pahalgam dropped to 14.2°C, down from 17.0°C. Other recorded lows include Kokernag at 18.2°C, Gulmarg at 13.5°C, and Kupwara at 18.2°C, all showing a clear downward trend in overnight temperatures. In terms of precipitation, Wular in north Kashmir received the highest recorded rainfall at 32.5 mm, followed by Srinagar with 31.3 mm, Khudwani 25.5 mm, and Sonamarg 21.5 mm. Other significant readings include Budgam and Baramulla at 10.0 mm each and Srinagar Airport at 16.4 mm.
