Kolkata: Appreciating the steps taken by the Union govt to resolve and normalise the situation in Manipur where communal clashes have rocked since May 3, 2023, BJP MLA from Singjamei constituency Yumnam Khemchand said the seizure of huge arms and ammunition from both valley and hill districts is the right step towards bringing normalcy to the state.Khemchand said in the past month, a substantial quantity of the weapons were seized from the valley districts and most recently, a significant amount of arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the hill districts.
