India resumes bid to beat England in second test after rain delay

BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) -- Play finally began on Day 5 of the second test between England and India on Sunday after a delay of one hour and 40 minutes because of wet weather. England resumed on 72-3 and most likely was looking to bat for a draw, with India having set a world-record target of 608. The home team needs 536 more runs to win.
