Bengaluru: With the arrival of the first weekend in July, Bengaluru is prepared for another typical monsoon day. Under partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of light rain, the city maintains its stretch of pleasant and slightly humid weather, providing just enough coolness to avoid interfering with weekend activities. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of moderate to heavy rainfall on Friday in coastal and its adjoining regions, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka. The rainfall is likely to be accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. IMD advisory Humidity levels may hover around 70-85 per cent, making the air feel damp, especially after rainfall. If you plan to step out, it's advisable to carry an umbrella or raincoat, as sudden rain showers are common. Wearing light cotton clothes will help in dealing with humidity.
