Rayachoti, July 5 (UNI) The police have continued carrying out searches in the houses of two terrorists, affiliated to the 'Al Ummah' outfit, and seized parcel bombs, passports and explosive materials here on Saturday. It may be mentioned here that the police last week arrested two terrorists, 'Abubakar Siddiqi' and 'Mohammad Ali', affiliated to the Al Ummah outfit, in Rayachoti town in Annamayya district in Andhra Pradesh. A police team on Saturday carried out a thorough search in the houses of two terrorists and seized parcel bombs, explosive materials, electronic devices, passports and bank passbooks. The parcel bomb was ready to send to an addressee in Delhi. The police are investigating whether the two terrorists have any links with the terror outfits working from foreign origin. The police are also investigating which organization funded them. The police set up a police picket at the houses of two terrorists. The two terrorists, who were involved in several blast cases in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, have been living here for the past three decades in disguise of cloth traders, in Rayachoti town and they married local women. Police said that they hatched a plan to carry out blasts during BJP leader LK Advani's rath yatra in Madurai in Tamil Nadu in 2011 but the police foiled their attempt. The two terrorists were involved in the bomb blast in the Hindu Munnani office in Chennai, parcel bomb explosion in Chennai in 1999 and series of explosions in Trichy, Coimbatore and at some places in Kerala. The duo were also involved in the murder case of Dr.Aravinda Reddy in Veluru in 2012. The police arrested the two terrorists and produced before the court which sent them to 14 days judicial remand.
