Bengaluru: The Namma Metro Purple Line services will be disrupted on Sunday, said the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). They said the trains will not run between Indiranagar and Baiyappanahalli stations on Sunday between 7 am and 8 am, including at Swami Vivekananda Station, which lies on this stretch. All other Namma Metro services -- such as Challaghatta to Indiranagar, Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield (Kadugodi), and Madavara to Silk Institute -- will operate as usual from 7 am, following the regular Sunday schedule.
Officials said the maintenance work will be carried out between Vijayanagar and Attiguppe stations. So metro operations will not run on this section during the scheduled time slot. Bengaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced a temporary suspension of metro services on a section of the Purple Line on April 5 due to maintenance work.
