Nagpur: After receiving a decent spell of rain on Thursday night, Nagpur remained dry throughout Friday, even as several parts of Vidarbha continued to witness isolated showers. The weather man has, however, predicted heavy rain over the coming weekend.According to regional meteorological data, Nagpur recorded 7.4mm rainfall between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on July 3, bringing the day's total to 25.0 mm by 11.30pm. However, on July 4, the city recorded no rainfall up to 5.30pm, reflecting a sudden break in the wet spell. By 9.30pm, some areas had started receiving showers.IMD has forecast heavy rain for Nagpur between July 5 and 7, with generally cloudy skies expected over the next several days. The city is likely to see daytime temperatures ranging between 28°C and 31°C during this period, while night temperatures may hover around 23°C to 24°C. Rainy conditions are also expected to persist on July 8 and 9.Meanwhile, places like Bhandara (29mm), Chandrapur (4.3mm), and Yavatmal (2mm) received rainfall on Friday.
