India proposes retaliatory duties against US over Auto tariffs at WTO

New Delhi: India on Friday proposed imposing retaliatory duties against the US over American tariffs on automobile sector at WTO (World Trade Organisation). "The proposed suspension of concessions or other obligations would take the form of an increase in tariffs on selected products originating in the United States," according to a notification of the WTO.
