Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) and Odisha Revenue Service (ORS) officers in 16 districts began an indefinite mass leave on Tuesday to protest the assault on Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo on June 30. The protest covers Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, Rayagada, Deogarh, Nuapada, Subarnapur, Balasore, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, and Jharsuguda. The officers demand strict action against those responsible for the attack and have vowed to continue the strike until visible measures are taken.
