Mumbai: With restrictions on the use of loudspeakers in place, several mosques in Mumbai have started using a special mobile phone app to deliver the azan (call to prayer) directly to worshippers in real time. The app, called Online Azan, was created by a company based in Tamil Nadu. So far, around six mosques in the city have signed up to use the service.
