Srinagar- A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Friday granted a 10-day remand of two men arrested for allegedly sheltering Pakistani terrorists involved in the deadly Pahalgam terror attack in April, officials said. The two accused -- Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar of Batkote and Bashir Ahmad Jothar of Hill Park, Pahalgam -- were earlier sent to five-day custody on Monday. With that remand ending on Friday, the NIA sought and secured a further 10-day remand from the special court. The duo was arrested by the NIA on Sunday in the first major breakthrough in the April 22 terror attack that left 26 people, mostly tourists, dead and 16 others injured.
