Hyderabad: Just one day before the release of Squid Game Season 3, Netflix has given fans a surprise, which is a 6-minute sneak peek into the premiere episode. The preview clip is now live and offers a chilling glimpse into what's ahead for Seong Gi-hun and his fellow players. The clip begins with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) arriving back in the Squid Game venue, only this time, it wasn't normal. He was delivered inside a coffin that was pink and what the eliminated players would be delivered inside. The other players were shocked and relieved that he wasn't dead. However, Gi-hun's return is anything but a celebration. Speaking about Squid Game Season 3, actor Lee Jung-jae revealed that filming this scene felt surreal. "When the coffin is opened, Gi-hun is reborn," he said, adding, "He has to go back, play the game again, and make new choices." This time, the stakes are even greater. Front Man's Ruthless Plan Season 3 will see Lee Byung-hun return as the ruthless Front Man, who also has new tricks. Instead of killing Gi-hun, he returns him to the deadly games, because he wants Gi-hun to feel the weight of all of his failures. "Front Man wants Gi-hun to lose his faith in humanity and in himself," said series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. It is all part of a twisted plan to break Gi-hun's spirit and prove that hope is meaningless. Lee Byung-hun echoed this view. "Front Man isn't interested in Gi-hun's survival. He wants Gi-hun to see the world the same way he does," he said. What's Coming Next? The preview also gives fans a glimpse of Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), last seen trying to escape via a rescue boat. His fate remains uncertain, but the clip hints at a possible return. Squid Game Season 3 will be darker, bloodier, and more emotional.
