Hyderabad: Following the induction of three ministers into the state cabinet, some MLAs who were considered strong contenders have reportedly expressed dissatisfaction over the outcome. In response, the state leadership has begun efforts to pacify them, with AICC Telangana incharge Meenakshi Natarajan reaching out to the MLAs on Sunday.Accompanied by several leaders, including advisor Vem Narender Reddy, the AICC incharge visited former minister Sudarshan Reddy at his residence to discuss the issue. Sudarshan Reddy was among the strong contenders for a cabinet berth. However, since his name was not among the three MLAs inducted into the cabinet, he reportedly expressed his displeasure. In response, Natarajan is believed to have reassured Sudarshan Reddy and attempted to explain the party's selection process. Sudarshan Reddy later said that he would abide by the party's decision.Another MLA, Malreddy Rangareddy, was also reportedly upset and had announced a press conference. However, he later cancelled it after TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar met him at his residence. Meanwhile, the top leadership is also said to have tried meeting Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and Mancherial MLA Prem Sagar Rao, both of whom were strong contenders for cabinet positions.
