Shimla, June 7 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Hospital in Shimla this afternoon for a routine medical check-up. Her visit, although unscheduled, was part of preventive and diagnostic care, according to a medical bulletin issued by the hospital. A team of specialised doctors supervised her medical evaluation, and a few standard tests were conducted during her brief stay at the hospital.
