New Delhi, September 15: India has reported 49,573 cases of dengue and 42 deaths related to the mosquito-borne disease till August, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday. Ranchi: There has been a rise in vector-borne cases in the state, as per the state health department's figures complied till June this year. From January till June, Jharkhand witnessed a total of 14,771 malaria cases, marking a sharp rise as compared to May.
