New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) A Delhi court on Thursday sentenced Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Rajendra Bharti and a former bank employee to three years' imprisonment in a cheating case involving the forging of bank records to obtain illegal interest payments between 1998 and 2011. New Delhi, Jul 19 (PTI) The CBI has arrested an assistant accounts officer of the BSF for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 40,000 from a contractor, officials said Saturday. Dharmender Kumar Verma, working in the Public Accounts Office, had demanded a bribe of Rs 2 lakh to clear pending bills of the contractor, they said.
