Srinagar, Apr 06: Excess government spending of over Rs 1.24 lakh crore in Jammu and Kashmir has not been approved by the legislature, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has said. The audit report for the year ending March 2024 states that excess expenditure of Rs 1,24,004.41 crore, incurred between 1980-81 and 2019-20, remains pending for regularisation.
