Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Friday allowed financiers to extend up to 85% of the loan-to-value (LTV) for gold loans below ₹2.5 lakh, improving credit access to small borrowers and boosting the business for last-mile lenders specialising in this business stream.
