Hyderabad: Thousands of people who gathered at ashoorkhana in Dabeerpura on the 10th day of Muharram (Youm-e-Ashura) took part in the Bibi-ka-Alam procession. Tiruppur: A newlywed woman in Tamil Nadu died by suicide on Sunday, June 29, after sustained mental and physical torture over alleged dowry demands by her husband and in-laws. The deceased, 27-year-old Ridhanya, had married Kavinkumar, 28, just three months ago in April. Her family had reportedly given a Volvo car worth Rs 70 lakh and 800 grams of gold jewellery as dowry.
