Chandigarh, March 30 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday announced a series of technological and structural reforms in the state's education department, starting with a new automated attendance system effective from April 1. Under this initiative, parents will receive an immediate SMS notification if a student is absent from school.
