Land reclaimed, polluted water sale stopped at Sunnam Cheruvu

HYDERABAD: In a major operation on Monday, HYDRAA launched a crackdown at Sunnam Cheruvu, cleared illegal structures within the lake's Full Tank Level (FTL) limits and halted the sale of contaminated groundwater. BBMP marshals without salary for last three months

BENGALURU: BBMP marshals deployed at lake security and supervision wing, ward monitoring and Indira Canteens are working without salaries since March. Water Tankers Booked For Supplying Unclean Water

Hyderabad: HYDRAA on Friday booked police cases on water tanker businesses which were illegally drawing polluted water unauthorised borewells at Madhapur's Sunnam Cheruvu and selling it to people. The water had high levels of lead, cadmium and nickel in it and was being supplied to hostels.
