New Delhi: The war with Iran seemed to have pushed the India-US trade deal on the backburner. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor on Thursday provided an update, hinting that the long-pending bilateral agreement could be inked in April itself. In a post on X, Gor said that he had a "highly productive" meeting with trade representative Jamieson Greer on how to advance President Donald Trump's trade priorities in South and Central Asia, and that an Indian delegation will be travelling to Washington later this month for talks on a trade deal.
