Pune, Apr 9 (UNI) Senior leader Sharad Pawar has expressed hope that the upcoming by-election in the Baramati Assembly constituency, necessitated by the untimely demise of former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, would be held unopposed in keeping with Maharashtra's long-standing political traditions.
