Kolkata: Pitching for "double-engine government" in Bengal after 2026 assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, charted out a six-point "Modi's guarantee " in Bengal from his Haldia public rally, with promise to weed out infiltrators and vowing that all government employees will get the benefits of the Seventh Pay Commission, which will be implemented once BJP is voted to power. Modi's guarantee will also ensure that the new BJP government will be accountable to people; and facilitate safety and security to women and all corrupt Trinamool will be punished.
