Jammu, Apr 02 : Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Thursday hit out at party MLA Bashir Ahmed Veeri, calling his emotional outburst in the Assembly over the reservation issue "drama" and accusing him of misleading the public. The Deputy CM, per news agency -- Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said the government had already acted on its commitments and that a sub-committee was set up by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to examine the reservation issue. lIts report was finalised, approved by the Cabinet and sent to the Lieutenant Governor". He said that the report is with the LG and if he (Veeri) was serious, he should have approached the LG instead of indulging in theatrics.
