Srinagar, Oct 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference government, accusing it of betraying the trust of the people and failing to deliver on promises made in its manifesto. "People still remember how Omar Abdullah abandoned them after winning from the constituency," he said while addressing a rally at Alamdaar Colony, Mirgund in district Budgam, as part of the party's ongoing election campaign. J&K BJP President Sat Sharma and General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, along with the party's MLA candidate Aga Syed Mohsin, chiefly addressed the rally.
