Darjeeling: A stone was hurled at the convoy of Darjeeling MP Raju Bista near Sukhiapokhri on Saturday while the BJP lawmaker was returning from Rimbick after visiting flood-affected sites in the area. The stone struck one of the security vehicles escorting the MP. No injuries were reported.The incident occurred hours after a video surfaced on social media showing Bista threatening a local neta during an public interaction at Fedi Khila."We were on our way back to Darjeeling. As we neared Mim Phatak, a stone was hurled at one of the vehicles -- the one tailing the MP's car. The area is surrounded by dense forest, so it was difficult to identify the culprits," said BJP Hills district president Sanjiv Lama. "We have lodged a police complaint against an unknown individual.
