BSc student dies by suicide in Chhatarpur | Bhopal News - Times of India

Bhopal: A 24-year-old BSc Microbiology student at Maharaja Chhatrasal University in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, ended her life by jumping from the fourth floor of her rented accommodation. The incident occurred on Sunday morning around 8 am. The deceased, identified as Diksha Gupta, hailed from Rath in Uttar Pradesh. She was living alone in a rented room in the Civil Line police station area. Her parents, Suresh and Indrani Gupta, had arrived from Uttar Pradesh the previous night to visit her. According to the student's mother, she had gone to the toilet when Diksha went to the roof and jumped. The police have recovered Diksha's mobile phone and are currently examining it and reviewing footage from nearby CCTVs. TNN
