Darjeeling: CM Mamata Banerjee has named a seven-day old female elephant calf -- rescued after she was separated from its herd during the north Bengal flood on Oct 5 -- 'Lucky'. "Since the calf survived such devastation, we have named her Lucky. It is a miracle that the little one made it through." She praised the forest department and rescue teams for their efforts.
