New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Rajya Sabha witnessed continued disruptions today as Opposition members demanded a discussion on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. The repeated protests led to the adjournment of proceedings until 2 pm. Soon after official papers were laid on the table after the House assembled for the day, Chairman Harivansh informed the members that all 21 notices under Rule 267 have been rejected. Rule 267 allows suspension of scheduled business to take up matters of urgent public importance. Despite the Chair's decision, Opposition MPs pressed for a debate on the alleged irregularities in the electoral roll revision exercise in Bihar.
