New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the BJP-led Delhi government for allegedly failing to control waterlogging, saying it has led to the highest number of malaria cases in the capital in the past decade. AAP leaders claim that stagnant water from poor drainage has caused a surge in mosquito breeding, resulting in the alarming rise in infections. Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said that despite BJP ministers denying waterlogging problems, flooding in areas like Connaught Place, Sadar Bazar, and Janpath after recent rains proves otherwise. He argued that the spike in malaria cases confirms widespread water accumulation and criticized the government for inaction. "Despite daily evidence of flooded streets, BJP ministers continue to lie to the public, claiming there's no waterlogging.
