Kolkata: A security guard Pinaki Bandhopadhyay, of the South Kolkata Law College on Saturday got arrested. After following the CCTV footage, it was learnt that the security guard was on duty then and despite knowing that a girl was being molested didn't do anything for her rescue. Question arises: why did the security guard not react? Was he equally involved in the crime or was he afraid of former Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad (TMCP) leader Monojit Mishra? Meanwhile, police found the video which was shot to blackmail the victim from one of the accused's mobile phones as the victim had said while her statement was recorded.
